International Student Placement Program

As of May 2006 the Student Placement Program is not available.  We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that we can bring it back shortly.   

Equestrian International's Student Placement Program takes students from all over our world and places them with trainers from all over the globe. By using our large network of contacts and a unique application and interview process we are able to provide an international training program that gives the serious rider an educational opportunity of a lifetime.
Our system is a great way to find qualified working students and clients to trainers making the job easier and providing for a more profitable business.

Let Us Send You Students

The first step is to become and Equestrian International Member and request a Receiving Students Application, which will include a preliminary questionnaire and a $75 application fee. Once we have received and processed your application, you will be ready to receive students.

As a placement provider you will receive regular communication from us keeping you up to date on interesting opportunities for you clients and yourself. We will contact you once we have a student that meets your general criteria.

Our placement process is very thorough and enables both parties to be sure the match is appropriate before making a commitment.

We suggest that if you are working with a trainer, you include your trainer in your application process. The application process starts by becoming an Equestrian International Member and requesting a Sending Students Application,  which will require a video demonstrating your riding capabilities and the $75 application fee. Once we have received and processed your application, we will contact you with our recommendations on placement.

Trainers

We offer opportunities for professionals overseas. Everything we do is specific to the individual. This makes it possible for us to create personalized training opportunities for trainers. Please request the Sending Students Application.

Cost for Sending Students

Applications for either sending or receiving students are good for two years and one placement, and cost $75. This fee enables us to hand process your application and be meticulous with our placements. Other costs will vary based on your training program, but our fee of $500 per placement remains the same. We require that you send your application at least three months in advance of seeking placement with six to twelve months being optimum. 

We have provided three options with estimated costs below.

Bronze Medal Working Student Program - $75 application fee, $500 placement fee.
The placement fee may be split with the trainer. Please be advised that most trainers are looking for a commitment of at least 6 months.

Silver Medal Training Program - $75 application fee, $500 placement fee.
Training fees vary by placement, between $2000 - $3500 monthly and include housing costs.

Gold Medal Training & Showing Program - $75 application fee - $500 placement fee
Training fees vary by placement, between $3500 - $6,000 monthly and include housing costs.

Cost for Trainers Receiving Students

The only required cost for trainers is the $75 application fee. If you wish to receive a working student, you may split the $500 placement fee with the student. During the application process, we will be in contact with you in regards to your training fees.
